Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Little Office is a very ancient devotion to Our Lady, by some indications predating the eighth century. It may be prayed daily, as do Carthusians, or especially on Saturdays, the traditional day of the week devoted to the Blessed Virgin. It is also suitable for her feast days. This version is ideal for beginners, but will also be appreciated by those persons well-seasoned: it is divided into the Church liturgical seasons and arranged so that each Hour can be prayed straight through without having to flip back and forth for the appropriate antiphons and readings.
